One of their pillars is the development and implementation of language new tendencies and technology-based curricula.

IDEC (TRAINING CONSULTING COMPANY ) – GREECE

IDEC is a training consulting company located in Piraeus, Greece. Its activities consist of training, management consulting, quality assurance, evaluation and development of ICT solutions for both private and public sector. Clients of IDEC are both SMEs and the bigger Greek companies of a wide variety of sectors. It co-operates with more than 800 institutes all through Europe and with about 300 experts on specific fields.

IDEC has extensive experience in European projects, either as coordinator or as partner from different European programs and Initiatives. The last 18 years IDEC is dealing with the theme of quality assurance in training and has coordinated the projects EQUAL, Quality.net, BEQUAL and QUADRAT in the same subject. Moreover, IDEC has consulting experience in developing quality management systems in Greek training centres.

It has been accredited as a lifelong learning centre and organises in-service training courses for teachers and trainers, study visits and informal learning activities for students in initial education and training and provides training courses and work placements for students in vocational training and people in labour market.

CSC Danilo Dolci is a non-profit organization located in Palermo, Italy, founded in 1958 by Danilo Dolci, a social activist, sociologist, pacifist and educator. CSC works mainly in the educational sector and has several collaborations with schools, university, institutions, associations and social groups, both at local and international level, focusing on two main pillars, local development and creativity.

FAM Y LIAS is a non-profit cooperative operating in Madrid and in Spain whose main aim is to contribute to the visibility of diversity in all areas of life as a source of wealth.

We want a more equitable and sustainable society to value diversity in all areas of life; and autonomous, equitable, supportive people who value collective construction and contribute to it.

FAM Y LIAS works in different areas, always related to social development such as: social project management (Developing curricular content and Methodological innovation), Knowledge creation and management, and Social Innovation, including empowerment of migrants and persons in situation of vulnerability.

FAM Y LIAS is also very active cooperating with other entities and organisations, and has promoted various workers cooperatives in Madrid. They give support throughout all the stages of creation of the cooperatives, until they are capable of sustaining themselves.

ELAN INTERCULTUREL (Elan) - FRANCE

ELAN INTERCULTUREL is an association created by a group of professionals interested in the challenges of intercultural encounters and coexistence. Our association’s objective is to contribute to intercultural dialogue to a better experience of cultural diversity.

As a laboratory of intercultural methodologies élan interculturel’s mission is to promote a holistic vision of culture (psychological and socio-anthropological) and to propose an innovative pedagogies to open up reflection and to develop skills and competences for intercultural dialogue. To contribute to a more intercultural society we engage in international cooperation projects whose objective is to develop new teaching methodologies that can be used in various training courses tailored to different audiences (social workers, educators, teachers, health professionals etc.). As a training organization, we use interactive teaching methods and non-formal pedagogies (applying literature, theatre, improvisation, art) that offer creative, accessible and motivating learning experiences.

Although Elan Interculturel is not an organization that directly provides language courses, the association has been involved in nearly 10 European projects to develop activities and tools to enrich the pedagogical baggage of teachers and provide support adapted to the specificities of their audiences.
